In2novation relies on its unique capacity to mobilize a strategic network of decision makers from government, academia and the business community in both France and Canada. Together, they amplify In2novation’s activities and crystallize the roadmap established by the governments of France and Canada through the Joint Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation.

The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) defines and implements France’s national research and innovation strategy. The Ministry supports collaboration between academia and the private sector with initiatives and programs to support R&D, encouraging synergies between researchers and innovating companies.
The Embassy of France in Canada plays a supporting role in building and sustaining the momentum of joint France-Canada innovation initiatives. Through its economic, scientific and cultural services, the Embassy enables collaborative programs and structures the innovation dialogue between the two countries, acting as a catalyst for deeper cooperation between Canadian andFrench innovators.
The Canadian ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) oversees Canada’s federal innovation, science and economic development policy. ISED supports industrial research and promotes competitiveness through support and funding programs. Its partnership with In2novation seeks to foster cooperation between academia and industrial players and supports entrepreneurship in Canada.
