A propos


France-Canada Innovation Platform “IN2NOVATION” is composed of 11 partners, including institutions, universities and companies.  


The ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) in France, oversees the preparation and implementation of the French Government's policy on the development of higher education, research and technology. For the innovation aspect, the MESRI makes available useful tools and programs aimed  to develop research and innovation activities for companies, to support the creation of innovative companies or to promote the exchange of knowledge between businesses and research organisations and institutions.


The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) helps make Canada a country of discoverers and innovators for the benefit of all Canadians.The agency supports students in their advanced studies, promotes and supports discovery research, and fosters innovation by encouraging Canadian organizations to participate and invest in postsecondary research projects. NSERC researchers are on the vanguard of science, building on Canada's long tradition of scientific excellence.

Servier Canada

Founded in 1954, Servier is the first French independent pharmaceutical group. Servier is present in 140 countries with more than 20 000 employees, including close to 3000 in R&D. Its organization as well as its international foundation are involved in research activities which focusing on further improving health and bringing better care to patients.

Power Corporation

Founded in 1983 by its president Jean-Jacques Laurans, ALFID Group has been operating in Quebec’s property market for over 30 years.

University of Ottawa

The University of Ottawa has a history of developing and maintaining partnerships with French institutions, resulting in fruitful ties with French universities and research institutes. The Office of the Vice-President Research also works closely with the French Embassy to jointly administer the France Canada Research Fund.

Génome Québec

Génome Québec aims to catalyze the development and excellence of genomics research and promote its integration and democratization. It is a pillar of the Québec bioeconomy. Génome Québec contributes to Québec’s social and sustainable development.


Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 20 years. Working with 70 universities, 6,000 companies, and both federal and provincial governments, Mitacs builds partnerships that support industrial and social innovation in Canada.

France Canada Research Fund

The France Canada Research Fund (FCRF) is a cooperation tool between France and Canada. It aims to develop academic scientific relations. Created in 2000, the France Canada Research Fund (FCRF) has become an essential instrument of the Franco-Canadian research cooperation, funding more than 250 joint research projects to this day.

French Embassy in Canada

The Embassy of France in Ottawa is the diplomatic mission of France to Canada. The Cultural and Scientific Department as well as the Economic Department fosters bilateral exchanges between France and Canada in various areas such as innovation, education, linguistic, academic, research and audiovisual.
